Mass is celebrated by the student body weekly and on special occasions. The entire school celebrates Mass at these times as we strive to stress, as St. Augustine did, that we are first and foremost a community of believers.
Mass is celebrated everyday at 7:00 a.m. in the school chapel by the local Augustinian community that resides on campus. All are welcome to attend this daily Mass as well as to pray morning prayer with the friars at 6:45am. For the Saints community, our 7:45 a.m. Wednesday Mass is our weekly all school liturgy, unless a special feast day is being celebrated that week. Special Masses include St. Augustine’s Feast Day, All Saints Day, Ash Wednesday, Grandparent’s Day, Junior Mass, the Senior Baccalaureate Mass, and other feasts as will be announced on the school calendar.
Weekly masses are celebrated by Augustinians from the St. Augustine community, local parish priests, as well as priests visiting the area. Music is provided by the Saints Mass Band, a group of students who commit to a weekly rehearsal and an early arrival for setup on Mass days as they dedicate their musical gifts to the Lord.
The sacrament of reconciliation is available anytime by appointment with Fr. Max, Advent and Lenten Penance services are celebrated in their respective seasons with every student having the opportunity to go to Confession. The campus ministry team, school chaplain, and all faculty members, lay and religious, are always available for spiritual guidance.
Please see our school chaplain, Fr. Maxime Villeneuve, OSA if you have any questions or would like to propose new ideas for the benefit of our community.
