SOPHMORE SKATE SOCIAL
All Class of 2026 students here is your chance to get together and reconnect after the summer break. Next Friday, September 1st from 3pm-5pm come to Skateworld in Clairemont and show off your skating technique or learn how to skate in a fun environment. $15 includes your skate rentals, and Skateworld has a snack bar with a variety of food options or you’ll have time to go to dinner after the social and before the Varsity football game at Mesa College at 7pm vs Granite Hills
A ticket for the Skate Social does not include a ticket to the football game, that must be purchased separately through GoFan or by buying a Student Season Pass. hold debates as soon as next week, join the speech and debate tournament, and cover other future
events. Showing up does not obligate one to take part in a debate, so please feel free to come!
HONORS SOCIETY
The 2023-2024 National Honors Society application period is now open. Any sophomore, junior of senior, who has over a 3.6 GPA is welcome to apply for the prestigious honor society. For those returning, no application is needed. If you have any questions or want to pick up an application, please see Coach Segura in room 435.
RUBIK’S CUBE CLUB
ATTENTION SAINTSMEN! Anyone interested in solving Rubik’s cubes or learning to solve one please join us on Tuesday, August 29, in room 420 at lunch. The first esports meeting will be this Thursday at the beginning of lunch in Room 222 (Ms. Gormly’s room). We will be discussing after school hours for the esports lab as well as sign ups for future competitions and events.

MASS VOLUNTEERS
Saintsmen are needed to serve our weekly school Mass as altar servers, Junior Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers, and Mass band. Contact Fr. Max at mvilleneuve@sahs.org to sign up. All volunteers for our Mass get service hours for faithful service throughout the year.

Attention tennis players – if you are interested in playing Saints tennis this year, please make sure to attend a very important meeting at lunch this Thursday in Room 434. Your coaches will review the fall training schedule, plus other important information for the upcoming season.

Saintsmen: if you were on the golf team last year or are considering coming out for the team this year, there will be a meeting in Mr. Isaak’s room 212 on Thursday at lunch. MAMA MIA AUDITIONS AT OLP
The Fall Musical at OLP this year is Mama Mia. The show will run from November 2nd through the 4th in our brand-new theater. Auditions are open for all students in grades 9-12. Please review the materials. LINK: AUDITION INFORMATION

The Sept 1st Football game vs Granite Hills is Military Appreciation night. The Pit Theme is Camo and the ASB is selling a Brotherhood Spirit Jersey for $40, $10 of every shirt goes to Shelter to Soldier a local non-profit that helps veterans and rescue dogs.
