Prerequisite: Senior standing and completion of U.S. History and World History. Approval of department chair.
Content: This online course covers the origin and development of the American system of government and political behavior. The course covers the structures and functions of the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the government at the national, state, and local levels. Emphasis is placed on the student developing his own sense of civic responsibility.
