ATTENTION SAINTSMEN: The Saints Rugby Club will meet today at lunch in room 229. We'll talk about our plans for the year as well as discuss opportunities for leadership within the club.  ATTENTION STUDENTS: If you are interested in spending your Intersession traveling through Rome, the Vatican, Florence, Monaco, and Paris, there is still a chance to sign-up for Mr. Linville's European Travel class. Time is short, so if you are interested, you must act fast. Please see Mr. Linville as soon as possible if you are interested in traveling.

ATTENTION ALL CURRENT WRESTLERS and all those interested in wrestling. Practices are being held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm. This is a great way to get a head start on the season. If you have not wrestled before, make sure to come a bit early so you can talk to a coach or captain.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS AND TEACHERS...The writing lab will be open on Wednesday and Thursday before school from 6:45-7:45 in the Computer Pod (between Weber's and Sir's class) on the first floor in Mendel Hall.  This is an excellent opportunity for all students to get helpful feedback and direction an any writing assignment.  SENIORS....YOU NEED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS OPPORTUNITY. ATTENTION:  Students looking for service opportunities. Our Lady of Light Parish in Descanso is having a fundraising BBQ this Sunday, September 5 and they need helpers. For details stop by Campus Ministry.

Have camera will do Christian Service.  A friend of St. Augustine High School is looking for photographers to capture the magic of a retreat this weekend in Julian.  Food, lodging and gas money are all covered.  If you've got what it takes see Mr. Healy for details.

STUDENTS: Stickers for ASB cards are now available from Coach Lang or Coach Stephenson.  Stop by the coaches office and attach proof that you have completed your athletic paperwork.

Saints INTRAMURALS: Saints Intramural football season will open Monday September 20 right after Freshmen Welcome Week. Each homeroom may submit more than one football team. We need freshmen, sophomore, junior and senior students to referee the Intramural football games. Sign up with Deac or Mr. Linville. We will train you. Every player loves our referees!

Finally, Next Thursday is the first deadline for intramural rosters. Completed rosters and the $3.00 fee must be submitted to Mrs. Shaw in the main office. Teachers must sign approval for their team roster and especially, the team name.
