TRANSFER TIMELINE AND INFORMATION

  • Transfer Windows: There are 2 possible windows for transfer students to arrive.
    • Possible transfer mid-year in January.  Transfer acceptance notifications are made between December and January for arrival in either intersession or semester 2, depending on the completion of your prior school’s first semester.
    • Possible transfer for the following academic year.  Transfer acceptance notifications are made from May until the start of the school year in August.  When a space opens up, we will contact you.

  • Space Available Policy: Please be aware that St. Augustine High School typically fills each grade level’s enrollment limit.  We do accept transfers, but there are very few seats open each year.  The admissions department and the registrar at Saint Augustine High School are in constant contact to deliver transfer information as quickly as possible.  The process does take time and we ask for patience and appreciate your patience in advance.

  • Senior Transfers: Students seeking transfer for their senior year should be aware that senior transfers are complicated and therefore extremely rare and are limited to special circumstances.  If you are looking to transfer for your senior year, please reach out directly to Paul Sipper psipper@sahs.org

  • Evaluation Process: Students seeking a transfer to Saints should be aware that we evaluate grades, course rigor, extra-curriculars, a personal interview, and discipline and attendance records. During the transfer admissions process you will be asked to request a recommendation from an administrator or counselor. **This recommendation is one of the final steps in the admissions process and does not need to be completed until requested by an admissions office representative.**
