- Leading scoreer in basketball for a team that finished 13-2
- Played End on the Varsity football team
- First Team All-County in baseball
- Played on the county All-Star game
- Was a pitcher/outfielder at USC
- Played minor league baseball in both Stockton and Los Angeles
- Also played for the Los Angeles Angels of the Pacific Coast League
- He threw batting practice at Lane Field to Jimmy Foxx and Ted Williams
- Just won his third consecutive World 75 and over Softball Championship
