Track Meeting

All athletes interested in running track please attend an informational meeting Friday December 12th at the track shed on the football field, at the start of lunch. Attendance will be taken for returning athletes. Please be prompt.

The Vinyl Club will meet to play some live music on Friday, December 12 in Mr. Chesser’s room (317).

OLP and Saints ASB are co-hosting a Christmas event this Thursday at OLP. Christmas at the Villa is open to all Saints and Pilots and future Saints and pilots so if you have a younger brother or sister or cousin bring them to a night of Christmas activities, ice skating, Christmas cookies, crafts, DJ Flo, and more. 

During the event parents have a separate event in the OLP theater. 

The party starts at 5pm Thursday night at OLP, and ends at 7pm.

Tickets are $25 per student (parents free to attend)

There will be a Swim Team Interest Meeting on Tuesday, December, 9th at Lunch in Coach Oliwa’s classroom, Vasey 101. This meeting is for anyone thinking about swimming this season.  We will discuss the season, practice schedule, spirit pack, and answer any questions you may have.

Baseball

Attn: all current and prospective baseball players… anyone planning on playing in the spring must attend the mandatory meeting at lunch on Tuesday, December 9 in room 434. Roll will be taken.

Golf 

There will be a golf team meeting on Tuesday at the start of lunch in Mr. Isaak’s room 212.  This is for anyone on the saints golf team last year or those who are interested in trying out for the golf team this spring.  It is important that you show up for the meeting so that you are aware of the required dates for team tryouts as well as getting on the team roster.  Again: golf team meeting at the start of lunch on Tuesday in Mr. Isaak’s room

Attention Tennis Players – anyone interested in playing tennis for the upcoming spring season should attend a mandatory meeting this Tuesday (today) at lunch in Mr. Adams Room 108.

Need a festive break from Finals prep? The Honors Theater Class will be presenting their free Christmas Special this Tues 12/9 at noon in the theater. Find out what happens when students share their family Christmas memories with AI to create original theatrical performances. This free show also includes an interactive improvised Dungeons and Dragons Christmas encounter, so don’t miss out!

Turkey Trot:

Turkey trot today,  pick up your gear at ASB at lunch. If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do it at lunch or tomorrow before the race.

ECYD Club Donation Drive – Blankets & Warm Clothes

 The ECYD Club will be collecting blankets and warm clothes  until December 9th to support people experiencing homelessness in Tijuana.

 The following teachers have generously agreed to offer extra credit — which could be very helpful with finals coming up:

Mr. Cudal, Mr. Gisesing, Mr. Oakley, Mrs. Walp, Mr. Poiset, Mr. Thompson, and Mr. Granados.

Each teacher will decide how they want to give out the extra credit and to which blocks.

Track

All returning track athletes not currently in a sport, we are having preseason practices Mondays and Wednesdays to prepare for the upcoming season. Any freshman interested in running are also welcome. Practices will be from 2:15 to about 3:45-4.
