Dear Sophomore Parents and Guardians,

As a school community, we aim to form graduates who are Christian gentlemen, and it is a tall order. Our faculty and staff do not do it alone. Our coursework alone does not accomplish it. We form Christian gentlemen through the fullness of our communal life as faculty, staff, parents, and sons guided by the Holy Spirit.

With this goal in mind, last spring the Class of 2022 and you, their parents, attended the Freshmen Parent/Son Chastity Program that focused on chastity in our digital world, its place in their future vocation as a layperson or a religious, and how each Saints family could begin an ongoing conversation about chastity. To spark more conversation about chastity and vocation in order to form Christian gentlemen, you and your son are invited to the Sophomore Parent/Son Chastity Program: The Dating Seminar.

The Dating Seminar will be held Saturday, October 19. A light breakfast will be available in the Commons starting at 8:00 am with our program and prayer service in the Raymond Center for the Performing Arts from 9:00-11:00 am.

Both parents are encouraged to accompany your son to the The Dating Seminar. We do ask that at least one parent or guardian be with him to lend the support and guidance that only comes from the family. As a special bonus for your sons, all sophomore religion teachers have announced that they are offering extra credit for attendance at this event. Your RSVP on sahs.org is requested by October 15. Once again we are excited to see how the Spirit will work through the Saints community. We hope that this event will be a formative experience for our Saintsmen.
