2 Semester Class
This course is only open to incoming 9th grade students who did not meet the minimum qualifying score for direct placement into Geometry on the Algebra Proficiency Exam given in May at St. Augustine High School but did receive a score that qualified for an invitation from our math department to sit for this course in the summer to be placed in Geometry for the fall of 2026. Students that take this Algebra I – Accelerated course must receive a grade of “B” or higher in both semesters during summer to be placed in Geometry in the fall of 2026.
