The highly touted 1st round matchup did not disappoint on Tuesday! “Daddy’s Little Boys” denied the “Daddy Destroyers” victory by defying the Destroyer’s defense on a last minute go ahead extra point, winning 13-12. The Freshmen opener saw Manley’s “The Men” appropriately scold Dent’s “Los Chicos” by winning 21-7 and The sophomores very sophomorically thought they could simply saunter away from the colosseum of competition with a tie. Those silly boys, every intramural game must a have a victor because there can be only one. Team Blumer and Team Yoakum will have the first 10 minutes of lunch today(Thursday), to complete their sudden death extra point battle.
In today’s games, Junior-Senior Division Hecht’s “The Hechtler’s” play O’Beirne’s “Beirne ‘em UP!” at The Rose Bowl-North, the Sophomore Division has Segura’s “Planet Fitness Alphas” playing Vignol’s “The Trashers” at The Colosseum-Central and the Frosh division has Davis’ “The Cannonballs” playing Isaak’s “The Trash Boats” at Petco Park-South.
