Video Math Tutorial Problems
Presented by Tom Isaak

Throughout my seven years of teaching, students have commented that hearing and seeing a math problem being solved makes much more sense than trying to solve them by reading the text book or from reading notes. With the improvement of technology comes this attempt at trying to make math more understandable. While it is not possible to have an example of every type of math problem you will encounter in Algebra 1 or 2, my goal is to put in video some of the common problem areas and then add to the collection over time. Below, you can click the link for an overview of the program and then watch and listen to an explanation of a problem. It is best used in conjunction with your notes, not as a replacement. I realize that in putting myself on-line in this manner leaves me open to a bit of humor but as a ‘math guy’ I am used to the abuse!

I truly hope that this assists your math knowledge. I look forward to hearing feedback and also getting some ideas for other math problems that may be added to my tutorials down the road.

Sincerely

Tom Isaak
