Building on over 80 years of experience, we will be a leader among Catholic secondary schools providing educational excellence for young men in the Augustinian tradition. We will create a breadth of opportunities to foster the intellectual achievement, personal and physical development, and service-oriented leadership of our students, developing Christian gentlemen, young men strong in mind and heart. Our programs will exemplify the Augustinian values of Community (Unitas), Truth (Veritas), and Love (Caritas). We strive to be the first choice of Catholic families for the education of their sons.

Specifically, we will be characterized by:

1. Distinctly Catholic Education and Formation that prepares young men for college, evidenced by outstanding educational experiences, faculty who excel in their disciplines and offer pastoral care for their students, superior staff support, and an increasingly effective response to young men and their families. Saintsmen will experience Catholic, Christian formation that prepares them for the city of God and the city of man.

2. Education Centered Exclusively on Young Men, which allows for a unique high school experience in a fraternal atmosphere, recognizing and cultivating students' talents, tailoring instruction to the distinct manner in which young men learn, sustaining strong athletic and Fine Arts programs, and fostering the development of male spirituality and character
.
3. An Outstanding and Dedicated Faculty and Staff, grounded in Augustinian values and a love for learning, who demonstrate effective communication and teaching skills; utilize new technologies and innovative strategies to enhance student learning; and exhibit the highest standards of intellectual achievement and professional development.

4. A Diverse School Community which welcomes students from a wide range of ethnic, geographic, economic, and academic backgrounds with special outreach to young men from urban San Diego. This commitment is focused on providing greater access for students who wish to participate in the Saints Experience.

5. A Small, Safe and Supportive School Community committed to enhancing learning through development of life-long friendship among students, families, staff, and faculty in the setting of a vibrant campus life.

6. Excellent Facilities with Advanced Technology which support our mission, serve the needs of students, and keep pace with a changing world.

7. A Strong Financial Base which provides needed resources for comprehensive programs, increased tuition assistance, a balanced budget with adequate reserves, and supports an active development program for future and on-going opportunities.

8. Collaborative Relationships which take advantage of our unique characteristics and our urban setting to enhance the Saints Experience through the use of community facilities, and broaden our students' education through associations with other civic, business, cultural, social, educational, alumni, and religious communities.

We offer a unique high school experience for young men and their families.
