Dear Parents and Guardians of Saintsmen:
The Austin Guild is one of the parent support organizations
for St. Augustine High S School. Our mission is to provide
a link from home to school and to be a forum of c communication
with the faculty and administration. We strive to partner
with the sc school in the overall educational experience for
our sons. For those parents who have been involved and served
in the Austin Guild, it has been our opportunity to be connected
with the school, participate in the Saints Experience, and
return to the school some of the gifts and values St. Augustine
High School provides to our sons.
All parents
and guardians are members of the Austin Guild and we always
welcome your participation in the organization and execution
of the many Austin Guild sponsored and supported events throughout
the school year. As part of this package from the Austin Guild
you will find the commitment forms for the
Family Involvement Program and the
SafeHome program. I would remind
you that these are annual (school year) commitments and must
be completed and renewed each year. The Austin Guild helps
to organize the parent volunteers and it provides the accounting
for the hours served toward the family commitment. Please
give them your thoughtful attention and consideration. Also
included is a schedule of the Austin
Guild events for the coming
year.
You will
see members of the Austin Guild Board of Directors at school
events wearing our purple and gold name badges. The directors
represent all of the members. Help us to represent you by
asking questions and giving us feedback. Join with the other
parents in becoming involved and supporting the Saints Experience.
Being involved with the Saints community is not only rewarding
for your sons, but also for yourself and family.
I look forward to the opportunity to meet new members to our
community.
Sincerely,
Ernie Torgeson,
Austin Guild President
