ATTENTION: All current or prospective baseball players at all levels – there will be a brief 10 minute meeting at lunch TODAY in the purple and gold room. It is mandatory if you are planning on trying out in the spring. This is for all current or prospective players at any level.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS: The Prospective List of Candidates for California Scholarship Federation for Semester Two 2011-2012 has been posted on the Bulletin Board outside the library, the Academic Bulletin Board second floor of Villanova Hall and in the Registrar’s Office. If you are a candidate please pick up an application from Mrs. Oliwa in the Registrar’s Office. Completed application must be turned in to Mrs. Oliwa no later than tomorrow, Wednesday October 3rd with the $2.00 application fee. If your name does not appear on the list and you feel you may qualify please see Mrs. Oliwa.

SENIORS: Tomorrow Wednesday at lunch in the Villanova computer pod starts the CSU Application process. Bring your lunch and let’s get done with these applications.

Tuesday and Thursday sessions are afterschool in the same place. We will keep this schedule until November.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, October 3, we welcome back Father Owen Mullen as our presider at Mass. He is the Chaplain at USD, and especially involved in their sports program. A couple of years ago some students worked with him during intersession, and he is not unknown to some of our faculty.

REMINDER all Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors: Homecoming is just around the corner, and now, applications are available for any of you who think you have what it takes to be on the homecoming court. Sophomores and Juniors can apply to be prince of your class and seniors can be crowned king. Stop by Room 219 at lunch to pick up the application form which is due Friday, October 8, 2012.

INTRAMURAL SPORTS CENTER NEWS MONDAY OCTOBER 2, 2012

Yesterday, six Intramural football teams met on a warm San Diego day as they competing in three dramatic games. On the Senior Stadium’s green, grassy turf in a noticeably close game, Captain Ulises Osuna’s Chamco’s Sweats were nipped by Captain Justin Page’s Bachynsky’s Squad 22 to 20. Most valuable players were Justin Page Trye Kell, Joey Falcone and Claudio Carrillo.

Upper field fans at Lambeau Field looked on as Captain Gerardo Herrera’s Punishers burned Captain Sam Sphire’s French Fries 18 to zero. Earning recognition for his fine play was Gerardo Herrera.

Meanwhile, on Qualcomm Field the Wissak’s, Captained by Andrew Heffner, were tripped up by the Sippy Cups, Captained by Zach Weller. Zach Weller and Cyrus Fullen were awarded the most outstanding acknowledgment.
